Mariella Rose Car Accident Everingham ENG Death Obituary: A family has paid heartfelt tribute to 17-year-old Mariella Rose, who tragically died following a road traffic collision on Everingham Road near Storwood Game Farm in Everingham on Monday, March 30, 2026.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 3:40 p.m. after an orange Chevrolet, driven by Mariella, was involved in a collision with a tractor while traveling eastbound. Despite the efforts of first responders, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her family is currently being supported by specially trained officers during this incredibly difficult time.
In a moving tribute, Mariella’s loved ones described her as a bright and compassionate young woman who brought joy to everyone she encountered. “Mariella sprinkled stardust on everyone she met,” they shared. She was actively involved in her community, volunteering with East Yorkshire Mind, working as a crew member at the Shiptonthorpe McDonald’s, studying at Askham Bryan College, and serving as a Humberside Police cadet based in Beverley.
Mariella’s passion for life extended to her love of music, the beauty of the Yorkshire countryside, and her travels across Greece. Her family reflected on her strong moral compass, noting that from a young age she had a clear sense of right and wrong, which inspired her ambition to one day become a police officer.
Her sudden passing has left a profound impact on her family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew her. Many have come forward to share their grief and remember the warmth and positivity she brought into their lives.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward by contacting 101 and quoting log 304 of March 30.
Mariella Rose will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
